As a results-oriented senior-level professional, I specialize in providing strategic guidance, advisory services, and consulting expertise to clients, with a particular focus on executive and C-suite levels. My responsibilities extend to overseeing the implementation of recommended solutions, ensuring that projects are executed with efficiency, staying within scope, and adhering to agreed timelines. I bring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence, contributing to the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

My ability to navigate and lead through organizational change aligns seamlessly with the multifaceted responsibilities inherent to guiding an organization through transformative changes, organizational shifts, and process improvements.

Teach For America

Chief of Staff, Office of the Executive Vice President of Experience

In my capacity as Chief of Staff, I served as a key collaborator and strategic advisor to the President, taking the lead on both immediate and long-term organizational initiatives. This encompassed overseeing an eighty-five million dollar portfolio of operational initiatives spanning seven capabilities, ranging from growth strategies to innovative projects.

A central aspect of my role was fostering strong internal and external partnerships to navigate the re-branding efforts and align our organization with the evolving needs of the educational landscape. I recognized the interplay between culture and performance, ensuring that our initiatives not only met operational objectives, but also contributed positively to our overall organizational ethos.

Independently and innovatively managing the enterprise, I was instrumental in achieving audacious goals for impact. One notable accomplishment includes spearheading a comprehensive review of system-wide talent operations, resulting in a multi-million dollar organizational savings. This initiative required a meticulous examination of processes and strategic interventions, showcasing my ability to drive significant improvements within our operational framework.

Teach For America

I played a pivotal role in shaping the vision, strategic goals, and direction to drive impactful change within the Tarrant County educational landscape. This encompassed the comprehensive management of the entire partnership life cycle, from initial ideation to the establishment of contractual agreements, fostering conditions conducive to successful collaborations.

My responsibilities extended to developing a nuanced understanding of local and state priorities, enabling me to guide jurisdictions in defining and achieving measurable success. I actively sought and identified new funding prospects, engaging with entities that demonstrated both interest and capacity to support educational initiatives at a significant level.

Embracing a passion for pioneering new experiences and navigating through ambiguity, I consistently demonstrated effectiveness and motivation in my leadership approach. Project: Organizational Simulation: How Identity Impacts Leadership

Organization: National Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit

Year: 2019

Design an interactive professional learning experience for organization DEI Practitioners and decision-makers to leave with a foundational understanding of how their identity informs their leadership and manifests during periods of stress and pressure. The byproduct of the experience results in an understanding of system dynamics, how the system influences and constrains individual action, and a toolkit with methods and language to enable a positive work climate and higher staff productivity.

Project: Summer Institute

Organization: Teach For America

Year: 2018

Institute is a seven-week program designed to further the development of pre-service teachers and the summer learning for students. We approach this with a keen focus on integration (prioritizing content-specific training, classroom culture, and teaching as social justice), exposure to models, rehearsal and reflection as the path to internalization and development, and building a hunger in our teachers to drive their own growth. Corps Members will balance the urgency to achieve with the urgency to grow juggling leading summer school instruction and their own professional learning.
