Project Highlights
Summer Institute
A Culture of Excellence
Teach For America Dallas-Fort Worth Summer Institute is a seven-week program designed to further the development of pre-service teachers and summer learning for students.
Under my leadership, participant experience and effectiveness grew by 26%, including a significant increase in participant NPS.
Train the Trainer
Before Institute even began, I prepared to lead through others as I managed a team of 15 professional learning leaders and coaches, along with a team of operation support for my learning sites.
I developed this suite of resources to support a rigorous onboarding and development sequence designed to prepare the team to execute professional learning sessions and coach program participants toward success.
The suite includes detailed program details, professional expectations and accountability, content calendars, and resources.
Professional Learning
This resource hub kept participants organized and engaged while also detailing responsibilities.
Sample Hub Resources:
Meaningful Leadership Development
Whole-Group Instruction
Developed for 200+ participants
Small Group Instruction
Developed for cohorts of 15-30
Under my guidance, facilitators customized this framework for their cohort’s unique needs.
Elevating Student Voices
Student panels and community interviews were an important element of leadership development sessions, exposing participants to diverse perspectives while anchoring engagement activities in opportunities for direct application.
